Royal Jelly is a powerful Immune System Modulator

As we recover from the holidays and come into the coldest time of year with cold and flu season at its height, our immune systems can get stressed and run down. It’s the ideal time to focus on strengthening our immune system now and into the new year.  Bee Mana, Royal Jelly Powder is a unique ally for the immune system. It helps to regulate immune function, so it is beneficial both for an under-active or an over-active immune system.

Royal Jelly and Immunity

Royal Jelly is a highly nutritious secretion that nurse bees produce. Only the bee larvae fed with royal jelly develop into queens. Royal jelly creates amazing longevity, as queen bees can live 40 times longer than the worker bees. The longevity of queen bees can partially be attributed to royal jelly’s powerful effect on immunity.

There are two substances in particular in royal jelly that affect the immune system: gamma globulin and 10-hydroxydecanoic acid (l0-HDA). In combination, these two substances, make royal jelly effective for creating a strong immune system.

Gamma Globulins in Royal Jelly

Gamma globulins are a type of protein in blood plasma, the most significant of which are antibodies. They play an essential role in the immune system. Gamma globulins are found in royal jelly, as well, making it antibacterial and antibiotic. Gamma globulins stimulate the immune system, helping the immune system to fight infections, kill bacteria and viruses. Gamma globulins may be used to treat people who lack immune function or have a compromised immune system. Gamma globulins have been proven to effectively treat hepatitis, measles, and other viruses.

10-hydroxydecanoic acid (10-HDA) in Royal Jelly

Royal Jelly contains the fatty acid 10-hydroxy-2-decanoic acid (10-HDA). In a scientific studies, 10-HDA was exposed to rat cells and it was found that it suppressed interleukin-2 (IL-2) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) cells.  IL-2 and IL-4 independently activate T-cells and promote them to proliferate. T-cells are a type of white blood cell that help the body find and fight diseases or pathogens. T-cells trigger immune response and activate other immune cells that make antibodies. T-cells also are responsible for all autoimmune diseases, where the immune system is overly active and starts attacking itself. Because of Royal Jelly’s effects on T-cells, it’s a powerful immune system modulator. This means that it balances immunity, either helping to calm an overactive immune system or stimulate a sluggish immune system. A sluggish immune system can lead to many diseases, including cancer, as well as frequent cold and flu. An overstimulated immune system, creates autoimmune diseases like lupus, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, among others. Research also suggests that the 10-HDA found in royal jelly may inhibit the proliferation of the herpes virus and prevent tumor growth.

The higher the 10-HDA content in Royal Jelly the greater and faster the benefit. Immortality Alchemy’s Bee Mana contains 5%, 10-HDA, by weight, which is the highest content you’ll find.

To create a healthy, balanced immune system enjoy 2 teaspoons of Bee Mana per day.
